The purpose of the machine is to remove oil residue and general dirt left by canning processes e.g., Seaming, Retorting or Cooker/Cooler.
Cans enter the machine via an infeed runway. In the first stage it is washed with a mixture of hot water and detergent (optional). The cans are then transferred into the second stage where the cans are rinsed with clean hot water only before exiting the machine and being placed back onto a conveyor.The machine which has a small footprint 1225 (L) x 1150 (W) x 1250 (H),is fully automated. Water levels, temperature control and water flushing intervals are maintained with PLC and temperature control units. The automated features eliminate dedicated machine operators. Other Operational cost are reduced with the use of minimal wearing parts.
